The Team
Janelle Nixon and Dan Tino met at MTV in 2006 as casting associates and have been great friends and tireless work colleagues ever since. Having worked together and individually in the casting world for a combined three decades, they have each performed literally every single role in the business and they have led multiple teams together on some of the most challenging shows for many, many years. Very close friends, Janelle is basically the sister Dan never had, and Dan is indeed Janelle's brother from another mother. As a combined force, this casting power-duo finally came together to form Moodcast Media, a company that provides the highest premium casting services, with a highly skilled, motivated, and professional team that feels like family.
Janelle Nixon
A California native, Janelle, has over fifteen years of casting experience in the industry, more than most people will ever do in a lifetime. She's "Smarter Than A 5th Grader," worked "America's Toughest Jobs," turned people into "Supermodels," and found out she "Loves New York," among many other accomplishments to date. From the start of her career as a Casting Assistant at MTV, Janelle has continued to rise the ranks of the entertainment world's casting standards. With hit shows on MTV, Bravo, Paramount, Fox, VH1, TLC, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, Janelle continues to put quality work into quality programming. She has performed literally every job in the casting industry, from recruiting, to editing, to producing, to leading countless shows with multiple teams. A stellar organizer and a self-proclaimed "Google Doc Guru," Janelle leaves no stone unturned and her detailed-oriented nature makes her an invaluable asset to any type of show.

Dan
Originally from New York, Dan moved to California in 2005 to work in the film and television industry and has been casting unscripted content since 2006. Dan started out recruiting families for MTV's "Parental Control," and has since become one of the most seasoned casting directors in the industry. An extraordinary interviewer and overall producer, he has worked on countless shows from "Naked and Afraid," to "Bar Rescue," and everything in between. Having produced content for NBC, VH1, MTV, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, Fox, Paramount, and CBS (to name a few) Dan knows what it takes to find, interview, and pitch the best talent for the most exclusive networks in the business. With an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, and a Master's in Screenwriting from UCLA, Dan has both the brains and the knowhow to get the job done, no matter the challenge.
